(Position employees to reside in Denver, Colorado)


The successful Business Development Coordinator will be a self-starter, enthusiastic, excellent communicator, and organized team player. They will be responsible for keeping the Sales and Account Management teams organized and on task, while reporting issues to the VP of Sales and Marketing. The Business Development Coordinator works with several departments to ensure they are operating efficiently.


What you'll be doing:

Essential duties and responsibilities the Business Development Coordinator include the following. Other areas of responsibility may be assigned as needed.


  • Assist Sales and Account Management departments by preparing for weekly team meetings creating agendas, updating sales plan, setting up Zoom meetings, recording meetings, taking notes, communicating meeting information with both teams.
  • Follow up with team members assigned to tasks to ensure projects/tasks are completed on time.
  • Assign new leads to recruiters from ongoing and special marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries. This includes regularly checking and deduping webinar, trade show, and event lists.
  • Work with Marketing department to ensure trade show collateral is available for events at all times.
  • Provide weekly team updates to the VP of Sales and Marketing. Responsible for flagging any issues with team members and bringing that to the VP for discussion.
  • Process new member applications and ensure their sync to NetSuite and activation in Salesforce.
  • Double check monthly cancellations, 30-day cancellations and access removal requests in Salesforce to ensure team members are following protocols, data is up to date and access is being removed.
  • Manage quality assurance program for Account Managers.
  • Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the AM and Sales teams through Salesforce reporting and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Review and update Sales and AM commission reports each month. Meet with Controller to discuss commissions monthly.
  • Update monthly workflow campaigns in HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Communicate monthly with our sister company, WealthCounsel to update the referral list between organizations.
  • Identify and register for trade shows and events for the Sales and Account Manager teams to attend to increase visibility and help achieve sales goals.
  • Reconcile and update education opportunities in SalesForce as orders come through.
  • Monitor online chats and ensure timely response by Sales and AMs.


What skills will you need?

First and foremost, a four-year degree or equivalent work experience is necessary.


You'll be working from your home office so you'll need to be able to structure and prioritize your time effectively and demonstrate an ability to produce results without direct supervision. That said, you will be connected to the rest of the team via software so we're only a click away.


Additional desirable skills:

  • Strong communication skills, proactive problem solver with great organization and people skills;
  • Detail oriented and ability to adapt;
  • Experience using SalesForce is preferred;
  • Remote/virtual office experience required (at least 1 year preferred);
  • Ability to maintain a quiet and appropriate work environment, free of distractions during the workday;
  • Teamwork Able to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative and open team environment;
  • Occasional overnight travel might be required.


Work Schedule

This job will require you to work from your home office in Denver, Colorado, weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm.
